The Edelweiss Teen Princess Pageant helps kick off festival activities.
The event, which involves girls 14 to 16 years of age, follows the opening
ceremonies Thursday night. The young ladies appear on stage in evening
attire and authentic Swiss costume. Enrollment is limited to the first 15
girls to enter the pageant. The top five finishers will share $675 in
scholarship monies with the winning teen princess receiving $300.
